How can we help you?

We provide mental health services for individual adults, children, adolescents, couples and families. We can tell you which modality (individual, couples, or family therapy) will work best given your situation. Whether it’s your first time seeking mental health services or you are very familiar with the process, we can let you know what to expect here at Esperanza Family Counseling. We work with a variety of presenting problems and specific contexts and are eager to help you with yours. Click on the “Schedule Session” button to get started or call us for any questions.

Before you come in

  • After setting up your appointment with your clinician, be sure to review, complete, sign and submit the intake documents and consent forms before coming into your appointment. If you do not have an email address, you will need to fill out a hard copy of the paperwork at the office.

  • If you have your appointment in person, look up our address and get directions to know how long it will take you to get to your appointment and plan accordingly. If you have a telehealth appointment check the “Telehealth” tab for more information on preparing for that appointment.

  • If you complete a credit card authorization form, you will not need to bring your credit card to your appointment, we can charge your card through our secure client management system. If paying by cash or check please make sure you bring the correct amount to your appointment and deliver the payment to your clinician.

When you get here

  • There is plenty of visitor parking and no need to obtain a parking pass. There is also handicap parking if needed.

  • Our office, suite 105, is located on the first floor. Feel free to enter the suite and have a seat in the lobby to wait for your clinician to come and get you.

  • To check in, just text or call your clinician through the number they have provided you.

During your appointment

RELAX! Get situated into our nice comfy couches and be as comfortable as possible. Remember that you only have 50 minutes and time can fly by once you get into it so try not to “beat around the bush”. Your clinician is there to help you not judge you. If you feel uncomfortable about anything, please feel free to let your clinician know so that they can adapt and accommodate you.

When you leave

You did it! Once you finish your session, your clinician will let you know that the time is up and will escort you back the way you came in. Make sure to schedule your next appointment before you leave.
