Dr. Yuli Castillo is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). She is a passionate bilingual/bicultural Latina who enjoys collaborating with clients to achieve their personal goals. She earned her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree at Fresno State, and her doctorate at the University of Texas Pan-American.  Dr. Castillo is an educator in the Counselor Education program at Fresno State.
Dr. Castillo has been licensed as a mental health provider for over ten years, has offered professional development presentations at the local, national, and international levels and has worked with diverse clients. She has lots of experience working in community clinics, private practices, and vocational services. She has worked with clients of all ages addressing family issues, adjustment and life transitions, trauma, depression, anxiety, abuse, PTSD, anger management problems, communication challenges and other types of disabilities (e.g. physical, sensory, learning, substance abuse).
Dr. Castillo recognizes the impact of intersectionality (multiple identities) and culture on treatment outcomes in therapy and quality of life. She integrates Gestalt, systems
dynamics and Solution-Focused approaches in her clinical practice focusing on awareness and other goals to help her clients. She is also completing her EMDR certification. She can effectively communicate in English and Spanish while understanding the impact of acculturation, cultural shifts, and cultural navigation.

Rates for Dr. Castillo are based on a sliding fee scale:

- Gross annual income 0 - $49.9K = $120 per session

- Gross annual income $50K - $75K = $135 per session

- Gross annual income < $75K = $150 per session
